ANOUNCES NEW CONTRACT TO ENABLE CITIZENS IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE,
TO PAY ELECTRIC, GAS AND WATER BILLS VIA THE PHONE AND THE
INTERNET
CONTRACT
TAKES LINK2GOV INTO ITS 11th STATE
NASHVILLE,
Tenn. Ð (Sept. 27, 2000) Ð LINK2GOV Corp., today announced
a new contract with Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division
("MLGW") to develop both an Internet-based system and an
interactive voice response ("IVR") system that will enable
its business and residential customers to pay their utility
bills electronically through the Internet or by telephone.
MLGW currently invoices approximately 450,000 customers
per month for their utilities.
Mr. Ed Braswell, LINK2GOV Executive Vice President of Sales,

of utility bills in Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee.
We believe our systems will provide a more convenient and
timely method for MLGW's customers to pay their bills compared
with the traditional alternatives of mailing the payments
or presenting them in person. In addition, with every use,
the systems will provide substantial costs savings for Memphis
Light Gas and Water relative to the traditional methods.
