LINK2GOV ANOUNCES NEW CONTRACT TO ENABLE CITIZENS IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE, TO PAY ELECTRIC, GAS AND WATER BILLS VIA THE PHONE AND THE INTERNET

CONTRACT TAKES LINK2GOV INTO ITS 11th STATE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Ð (Sept. 27, 2000) Ð LINK2GOV Corp., today announced a new contract with Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division ("MLGW") to develop both an Internet-based system and an interactive voice response ("IVR") system that will enable its business and residential customers to pay their utility bills electronically through the Internet or by telephone. MLGW currently invoices approximately 450,000 customers per month for their utilities.
