LINK2GOV offers and supports a complete line of Point of Sale (POS) solutions that enable client employees to perform real-time account authorizations. We can install standard dial-up terminal POS devices that simply connect into a standard electrical outlet and a telephone jack. Additionally, we can install a stand-alone terminal that connects directly to an Ethernet port for operation over an IP connection. As another option, our clients may choose to use their existing computers as POS terminals that communicate through the Internet to process POS credit card payments. In this case, the computers would run Link2POS through a web browser, but could also connect to a terminal through a serial port, allowing for swipe or PIN-encrypted transactions.

Countertop Terminals

If the countertop terminal is the best solution for your needs, LINK2GOV offers a variety of hardware options from Verifone and Hypercom. One such device is the VeriFone Omni 3750. The Omni 3750 terminal packs performance, convenience, and an exceptional range of payment capabilities into an affordable device that can be easily passed to customers for PIN entry. Compact, all-in-one design combines a mag-stripe reader, internal PINpad, and fast thermal printer. This makes the terminal easy to install and your countertop clutter-free. The Omni 3750 supports standard dial-up terminals, and cutting-edge ISDN or Ethernet communication.

Expansion of Capabilities

With the addition of LINK2GOV's MultiPay application to the Omni 3750, a one-of-a-kind multi-merchant payment application, clients can experience an expansion of terminal capabilities:

  • Multi-Pay offers integrated real-time channel reporting than can include phone and Internet payments

Virtual Terminal

Link2POS is LINK2GOV's exclusive web-based Virtual Terminal. This product enables our clients to accept a wide range of payment types for a variety of taxes, fees, fines, and other payments from a single, web-based tool. Link2POS offers shopping cart functionality in which multiple payments can be processed through a single transaction. Client employees can either manually enter credit card information or it can be integrated with hardware for capture of information from the magnetic stripe on credit cards and debit cards. Expanded functionality can accept and process PIN-debit transactions by integrating a hardware component. This solution is perfect for transactions occurring at the point of sale, processing mailed-in credit card payments, or for call centers accepting payments via a live operator.
